Operating around the world with an annual revenue exceeding $300 Billion, it’s no surprise there’s a lot of complexity boycotting Microsoft and this process will take time for me. I have an Xbox console and a large library of games as well as other software and operating systems from Microsoft. With a career that involved Information Systems Management and teaching computer science, a boycott is not easy – but not impossible.

It doesn’t require much of deep search to uncover issues surrounding Gamivo.com who sell software and game keys for platforms like Microsoft or Steam etc. I’ve only used them twice and both occasions were problematic so now I will use alternative third-party resellers.

Elon Musk is a despicable person. Here is somebody with the wealth and opportunity to have had a lasting impact on humanity. But instead the guy just pedals antisemitic tropes, endorse neo-Nazis around the world, spreads lies about white genocide and white replacement, has meddled with his AI which then praises Adolf Hitler (and even generated child abuse images).

This worldwide fast food chain’s supply chain is horrific. I mean, people are buying cheap buckets full of sliced up young chickens (they’re killed after a couple of months) and think this company (that generated $3 Billion revenue in 2021) has kindness to animal lives on its agenda?

Recently, I took part in a Discord server, hosted by a gamer I’d met online. Another user (by the name Samuksis) had posted some disturbing anti-Semitic content. I was disgusted by this and informed Discord. Discord did nothing and ignored my communications on the issue (via email and Twitter).

There are many reasons why I boycott Sports Direct from its cheap products that play on the success of past brand names, abuse of staff and the loutish thug heading the company, Mike Ashley.

I don’t even know where to begin with the extent of evil that this corporation has exerted on the environment and people. It is well-documented in online articles, books, televised documentaries. Tracking the companies that use Monsanto products is difficult e.g. Kelloggs.
