Comments: This is the same car boot as on a Sunday – sellers tell me it’s quite small.

Comments: They call it in the “Giant” Car Boot. It does get big. Mainly non-traders. Had car loads of bargains.

Location: Twin Oaks
Twin Oaks Hotel, Pallerton (S44 6UZ)
Type: Car Boot
Admission Time: Either 10:00 or 12:15Price: £5 / person or £1 / person
Organiser: Treasure Trove FairsInfo: https://www.facebook.com/TwinOaksCarBoot/

Comments: This is big. Have to go for the pricey early bird £5 else bargains gone by midday. Good location but the parking in/out is horrendous and a safety hazard. A lot of traders but still had some great bargains from them.

Sundays

Location: Hucknall
Hucknall Lane (NG6 8AA)
Type: Car Boot
Admission Time: From 07:00Price: ?
Organiser: ?Info: https://www.facebook.com/Hucknall-Car-Boot-Sale-188624344506251/

Comments: It’s big but easy to walk around and there are facilities. Cheap pricing. Little bit ‘rough’.

Location: Tansley
(DE55 6DB)
Type: Car Boot
Admission Time: From 06:00Price: £2.60 / car
Organiser: ?Info: https://www.facebook.com/TansleySundayMarketCarBoot/

Comments: Exposed and cold. Big but spread out so quite a trek round. Expensive for sellers so not many bother now and go elsewhere. Never really had any bargains here. It is the most well-known in the area though.

Location: Rowsley
Rowsley Sports Fields (DE4 2EB)
Type: Car Boot
Admission Time: From 07:00Price: 50p / person
Organiser: ?Info: https://www.facebook.com/BakewellCarboot/

Comments: It’s not big but there are usually quality items here. Had some good bargains but in the >£20 range. Quite small. My favourite.

Location: Bowshaw
Near Dronfield (S18 2GB)
Type: Car Boot
Admission Time: From 06:00Price: £1 / car
Organiser: Treasure Trove FairsInfo: https://www.facebook.com/Treasuretrovefairs/

Comments: It’s a good size, well-organised and convenient access. Plenty of bargains and mainly non-traders.

Sometimes I just want to see something different, a car boot with greener grass so I have gone further afield. A shout out to:
