Remote Support

This page is typically used by friends and family for remote support so I can connect to your device and its screen. I don’t (currently) provide IT support services commercially so please don’t ask me to.

I use Teamviewer to connect to your device – it’s an established and trusted platform.

  1. Download the Teamviewer Quick Support app.
    (There are versions for Apple and Android mobile devices.)
  2. Close any apps open that aren’t relevant and run the app.
  3. Complete the field with your name.
  4. Provide me with the session code that is automatically generated.
  5. I will then attempt to connect and you must authorise the connection.

Once the app is closed, I will no longer be able to connect. You will need to re-launch the app and provide me with a session code again.
