I first started using these with Nokia phones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*#06# <\/strong>Display IMEI<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*#100# <\/strong>Show Phone Number<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*#67#<\/strong> Show call forwarding<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*43#<\/strong> and <strong>#43#<\/strong> to activate or deactivate call waiting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*#0000#<\/strong> Firmware version (or try *#51\u00d70# or *#9999#)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*#92772689#<\/strong> View Serial No., Date Made, Programming Date, Repaired<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>*#06#<\/strong> IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) Code:<br><br><strong>*3370#<\/strong> to activate Enhanced Full Rate (EFR). Newer SIMs have a feature called &#8216;clock stopping&#8217; that allows the phone to save energy \u2013 it is a kind of sleep mode for SIM cards. Not all versions of software support this. You cannot turn the SIM clock on and off, the phone will do it automatically if the SIM supports clock stopping.
